Since 2013, we have been roasting specialty coffee in small batches at our roastery in the foothills of Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. Each of our offerings is the result of a meticulous and conscientious journey.
Our small batch roasting process allows us to focus on accentuating the unique qualities possessed by each coffee. Our broader coffee philosophy is tied together with our emphasis on sustainable, socially-conscious sourcing and general business practices to ensure that each step in the chain – from seed to cup – is respected.
When you choose our coffee, you help protect and preserve our planet. In addition to other initiatives, 1% of our gross annual sales is donated to environmental nonprofits and these contributions are certified by 1% for the Planet.
Coffee is about community; it’s about adventure; it’s about embarking on an engaging sensory experience that satisfies your body and mind. Join us on a journey to heighten your coffee experience.
What is specialty coffee?
The quality of coffee is assessed on a 100-point scale. Specialty coffee must score 80 points or more, making it the highest quality coffee available. It must be grown, harvested, processed, and roasted according to stringent quality, social, economic, and sustainability standards. While coffee is ubiquitous, true specialty coffee is much harder to come by and crafting it is truly both an art and a science.
