Once the roaring heart of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation — the second-largest steel producer in America — this 10-acre campus has been transformed into a dynamic cultural, arts, and entertainment destination.
Framed by five towering 230-foot rusted blast furnaces, SteelStacks pairs industrial heritage with music festivals, outdoor concerts, independent film, and community celebrations.

From Industrial Giant to Cultural Hub
For over a century, Bethlehem Steel powered the American Industrial Revolution. Following the plant’s closure in 1995, city leaders and community organizers chose to preserve the historic blast furnaces rather than demolish them.
Partnering with non-profit ArtsQuest, the site reopened as SteelStacks, blending industrial preservation with performing arts, cinema, and culinary events.
