General
Whether you're running a regular coffee pot, crafting a hand-done pour over, or making espresso, we have you covered. All of our coffees are suitable for all brewing methods and we'll provide instructions for and guidance around creating the perfect cup.
The quality of coffee is assessed on a 100-point scale. Specialty coffee must score 80 points or more, making it the highest quality coffee available. While coffee is ubiquitous, true specialty coffee is much harder to come by and crafting it is truly both an art and a science.
You'll see flavor notes included in our product descriptions. Flavor notes for coffee are just like those of wine - reflections of the natural flavors inherent in each. Each of our products is 100% pure Arabica coffee with absolutely no flavorings or other additives.
For every 180 ml (180 g) of water, use 10 grams of coffee. If you don't have a scale, this works out to be roughly 2 tablespoons of coffee for every 6 oz of water. Adjust to taste if you prefer stronger or weaker coffee. If possible, grind your coffee right before brewing.
We recommend that you store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dark cabinet. Contrary to popular belief, storing coffee in the refrigerator or freezer will quickly degrade its quality!
Online Orders
All of our coffee is roasted to order to ensure maximum freshness. We roast throughout the week and ship each order within 24 hours of roasting it.
All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground to all contiguous 48 states.
When placing an online order, you may pay directly with a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express debit or credit card. We also accept payments via PayPal, Amazon Pay, Meta (Facebook) Pay, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. All orders are processed using top-level security and encryption mechanisms.
All coffee is roasted to order and we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We take great pride in the quality of the coffee we share. If you find yourself less than completely satisfied, reach out and let's chat.
Because we roast to order, certain rules do apply to refunds. Unused portions of the coffee must be returned at the customer's expense. Requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
We strongly recommend whole bean coffee as all coffee is at its best shortly after grinding. However, if you prefer your coffee ground, you will be able to select a grind preference when adding a product to your cart. If you have a more specific grind request, just reach out and let us know!
